Goals for the Club and how they will be accomplished:
- A group of high school kids from DAA ranging from 5-20 committed students would come to the Rashid Center on Sundays from 3-4 PM to participate in the Rashid Center’s workshops for kids with special needs. Examples of these workshops include sports, drama, dancing, singing, and etc.
- DAA students would go to the Rashid Center with one club supervisor each meeting.
- All club members must have a standard of being kind and supportive.
- In order to join this club, club members must show commitment and consistency, if this is not shown.
- The senior arts coordinator at the Rashid Center would prefer if “DAA At Rashid” meets once a week on Sundays from 3-4, however not all club members have to meet once a week. What I mean by this, is that I can get club members to alternate to coming to club meetings at Rashid. For example, if my club has 20 members. 10 members will go one Sunday from 3-4, and then the Sunday after that the remaining 10 members will go. This schedule would alternate, so members would only have to show up bi-weekly.
